Sebastien Braxton
Morning Devotional Speaker
Sebastien Braxton is the chief experience officer (CXO) for Business Payment Systems. By trade and training a user experience designer, international speaker, and serial entrepreneur based in North Carolina. He co-founded Luminate World, a mobile app that curates christian audio meditational experiences. Sebastien is also a member of the InVerse team, a young adult Bible study program on Hope Channel, and resides in North Carolina with his wife, Candis, and their four children.

Rodney Matambo

Rodney Matambo is a Senior Software Engineer II at Wistia, specializing in pricing team initiatives. He earned his degree in Educational Studies with a focus on Chemistry Teacher Education from Western Governors University. Beyond his professional endeavors, Rodney serves as an Elder and Youth Leader at the Fayetteville Seventh-day Adventist Church in North Carolina. His commitment to service is further demonstrated by his missionary work in Cambodia and Dubai. Currently residing in North Carolina, Rodney lives with his wife, Abigail, and their three children.

Candis Braxton

Candis Braxton is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A) based in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She earned her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University, where she was recognized as a President’s Merit Scholar. Candis provides virtual therapy services to clients across North Carolina and Kansas, specializing in areas such as anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, life transitions, and family dynamics. She has been working with couples since 2014, providing pre-marital counseling, and has over a decade of experience counseling young adults within her faith community, both domestically and internationally.

Pastor Scottie Deal

Pastor Scottie Deal, a member of the Native American Lumbee tribe, transformed his life from a former drug dealer to a Baptist preacher before joining the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 2002. He was ordained to the Gospel ministry on February 29, 2020, and has served in various pastoral roles, including at the Pembroke Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Concord and Salisbury district in North Carolina. Pastor Deal is currently the pastor for the Fayetteville SDA Church, and resides with his wife, Rebecca, and their three children.
